Tactics & Firearms Training Since 2007

Lighthorse Tactical, LLC is a training company focused on the legal application of tactics, techniques, and procedures. The proper application of these “TTP’s” is based on the user’s own daily world. What works for a SWAT Team on a hostage situation may not be applicable for a Citizen in a parking deck. Our training is based on relevance and realism.

  • 26-06 Pistol Optics 02

    March 21, 2026
Double Tap Training Grounds, 300 Horton Cove Rd, Calera, AL 35040, USA

    26-06 Pistol Optics 02 Class
    $175
Pistol Optics 02 is designed for intermediate shooters who use pistol optics.
    Pistol Optics 01 is not a pre-requisite.
This class will build on Pistol Optics 01 by reinforcing proper target acquisition, identifying challenges using the optic in less than ideal conditions, target transitions and working to shoot faster while maintaining accuracy.
Pistol Optics 2 will focus on speed and target transitions from less than ideal positions. The shooters will need to have the physical ability to kneel, squat, lay prone and recover. While not a physically demanding class, PO2 will be physically challenging. The shooters will be active and need to move to cover or fire from a less than ideal position using the pistol optic.
This is an intermediate class and each shooter needs to be comfortable handling their firearm safely and be comfortable shooting in a faster paced environment.
    Items Needed for Class:
Handgun with a ZEROED Pistol Optic Sight mounted to the slide.
Outside the Waistband holster that secures the handgun to a belt.
